Inspired by Famous Dyslexics
My dyslexia was not discovered until I was in the sixth grade. For many years, I was ashamed and afraid to admit that I had this problem. Then I learned about the many famous dyslexics that have been successful. Knowing that people like Jay Leno and even George Washington had the same kinds of struggles that I have had throughout my life is very inspiring to me. Their stories show that it is important to not give up. I have managed to graduate from college and make use of my strong points while overcoming my weaknesses. I work as an accountant and I am doing better than many of the people that made fun of me as a child.
