It can be very difficult for people who are confined to wheelchairs to get around in homes that are more than one level. Some people solve this problem by installing personal elevators in their home, but these cost a lot of money and require a long, complicated installation process. Other people install stair lifts, but these are really only practical for homes that have long, straight staircases. For homes that only have a few stairs between levels, installing hydraulic lift tables can be a better option. They are smaller and cheaper than elevators, and they are operated by buttons or switches that are simple for disabled people to use.
