The Importance of Mortgage Unemployment Insurance
I have a friend who recently purchased a home. Her and her husband were extremely excited but because of this economy, everyone needs to be prepared for the worst. Her husbands job began laying people off, and eventually he lost his job. Luckily, they have mortgage unemployment insurance, which covers job loss. I learned that if it weren’t for the insurance, they would have lost their brand new home. They told me that all they had to do was pay a percentage of their mortgage each month, and they were covered. I think this is extremely helpful and I’m going to invest in it right away.
