Buying loungewear for my ‘me’ day
I have decided that Sunday will be my day from now on. I am a full-time mum to two beautiful girls under the age of five, and although I know I am truly blessed, and really lucky I don’t have to work, it still is a bit of a stinger sometimes when my husband gets home from work, turns on the TV and stays there all night. I understand his job is tiring, but there’s no way anyone could argue that mine isn’t, and in the evening I sometimes just want to do the same, but of course I’ve got to feed the girls and get them off to bed before tidying the house and making dinner for me and my husband. However, I think my complaints about this might have got through, because this year, for Valentine’s Day, my husband has promised to take the kids off my hands and do something with them whilst I use the time to unwind. I think I’ll invest in some loungewear and just relax around the house for at least the first couple of weeks!
