Durability of Fireproof Safes
My neighbor recently had a small fire in her basement that was caused by her dryer. Unfortunately, her home office was damaged, as were many of her important documents. Lucky for her, she had the better portion of her important papers in fireproof safes. She had recently purchased them so that in the event of a fire or flood, they would not be destroyed. She could not believe that even though they had fallen off a high shelf, they remained unscathed. She found them to be durable and damage proof. The best part, of course was that when she opened them, her papers were unaffected by the fire, and the documents did not even have a hint of smoke odor to them.
