Is Your Information Private When You Shop Online?
Do you ever shop online wondering if your information will be sold to other businesses? It happens a lot, unfortunately. Many companies use privacy software so that your privacy is not invaded upon. That does not mean that your information will not be sold. Many companies have a privacy policy on their site, usually towards the bottom, which I know most people don’t read, including myself, except when I am not sure about the site to begin with. It is always nice to know, though, when a website utilizes this kind of software, as it is extra security on their part, so that they do not get slapped with a lawsuit, when customer information seeks out into the public eyes.
