Couchsurfing
There have always been those that want to travel but have no money. And a subgroup of these actually figure out how to travel with very little money anyway. They cobble together enough money working odd jobs so they can buy a plane ticket, and with 10 bucks in their pocket they board the plane and land somewhere new. Some stay in hostels, some try the new couchsurfing trend that has popped up with the internet. and all figure out how to get enough money through odd jobs to eat each day and do what they came to the new place to do.
